   I didn’t really care for the stand-by for Sutton or the aviatrix. But i loved beth, “Adalpho” . . . and bob. everybodys so amusing!

   Uh-oh! Bob Martin goofs! After he says the line “…and an aviatrix… whom we now call a lesbian!” He’s supposed to say, “and of course my favorite character, the Drowsy Chaperone!” You can see Beth step forward for her introduction then just kind of wave her hands. No matter what I will always like this show!

   yeah, that was incredibly dissappointing.. are there not enough black women auditioning for broadway that they can’t cast one.. jeeez. I mean, I know that the one who is in the show is black.. but seriously.

    It was Noble Shropshire. He filled in for Edward Hibbert for a few months during the summer while Edward was in LA doing Curtains.

    ahh…what a fantastic show! i saw this in New York with the first cast except the man in the chair was an understudy…but it was still incredible! Sutton was WONDERFUL!

    ya my dad is friends with Bob (man in chair and the writer of drowsy) so when i saw it on broadway he was there and backstage in the conservational room it was a party for Noble’s last day. BTW i met danny burnstien and i can say “aldolpho” quicker than him!
